Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother and Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the second child and is a sister named Alex and a sister who is older named Isabel as well as a sister named Jordan. Alex is her brother who plays bass in the Hereford group.
